A leading MEP contractor is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to take full responsibility for delivering a high-spec industrial facility in Chichester. Working on complex electrical systems within a fast-paced industrial build, you will lead the project from pre-construction through to commissioning and client handover.
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will coordinate all electrical works including HV/LV power distribution, process control systems, ELV, and specialist industrial electrical services. You will ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead electrical works from design coordination through to final handover
Oversee installation of HV/LV, containment, lighting, small power, ELV, and process control systems
Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance
Coordinate with the client, design team, and internal departments to resolve issues
Maintain control of budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial reporting
Lead testing, inspection, and commissioning activities
Ensure all work meets statutory, contractual, and company requirements
Candidate Profile:
Degree or trade qualification in electrical engineering
Proven experience delivering electrical packages on large industrial projects
Strong technical understanding of industrial electrical systems and process control
Excellent leadership, planning, and organisational skills
Confident communicator with strong client-facing ability
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and legislation
